I have been making this recipe as long as I can remember it.
It is a easy vegan toast or I can say eggless french toast is made from few ingredients that is always present in your kitchen.
Ingredients for vegan french toast
1) Custard powder - 1/4 cup
2) Sugar - 2 tsp
3) Cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
4) Salt - Pinch of it
5) Vegan butter - 2 tbsp
6) Non-Dairy - 2 cup
Some non-dairy milk
1) Almond milk
2) Coconut milk
3) Maple syrup - For garnishing
Directions for eggless french toast
1) Add custard powder, sugar, cinnamon, salt and non-dairy milk and mix until it becomes a smooth liquid batter with no lumps in it.
(Here we are making french toast without vanilla)
2) Transfer the batter into a wider and less densed pan.
3) Dip first one side of the bread into the batter for few seconds and then dip second side for another few seconds.
4) Once both sides of bread is coated with batter then heat a skillet over medium heat and spread vegan butter on it.
5) Fry the each side of the bread for 2-3 minutes until it becomes crispy.
Now serves the Hot and Crispy French Toast with maple syrup garnished on the top.
